Preston based Lifting Projects UK, has purchased two Galizia pick and carry cranes from UK dealer GGR Group.
Lifting Projects UK, part of The Lifting Gear UK Group, was founded in 2007 and specialises in offering contract lifting, machinery moving, heavy lifting accessories, large modular beams, shackles, and bespoke lifting solutions for some of the UK’s most complex lifting projects.
The company made the purchase as part of their ongoing expansion programme and to help meet customer demand for specialist lifting equipment across the UK.
The sale sees the delivery of a 2-tonne capacity G20 pick and carry crane and a 15-tonne G150 pick and carry crane.
The cranes were formally handed over by GGR Group Sales and Business Development Director, Michael Heneghan to Lifting Projects UK Group Operations Director, Chris Turner.
Sharon Keeley, Operations Director at Lifting Projects UK said “We chose to partner with GGR as part of our expansion programme, due to their excellent support and varied product range on offer. This is an exciting step forward for Lifting Projects, coming out of a very uncertain 2020 for everyone. Investment in the right equipment for our projects and customers is key to successful growth and we look forward to working with GGR more in the future’.
Michael Heneghan, Sales and Business Development Director at GGR Group commented “We appreciate Chris and the team choosing GGR as their lifting partner, we are very happy to be associated with such a technically minded, professional lifting team. Once again, this sale confirms how ideally suited the Galizia equipment is to complex, restricted access lifting environments”.
The G20 pick and carry crane offers two tonnes of lifting power without the need for outriggers. A practical alternative to a forklift, this pedestrian operated compact crane comes with a 5.3m maximum lifting height and can quickly pick, carry, and place loads thanks to its 180° rear hydraulic drive.
The G150 mobile crane is the perfect solution to lift and shift heavy loads up to 15 tonnes in congested areas whilst still boasting the flexibility of 180° rear hydraulic turning. Battery operated, with a lifting height of up to 8.5m, this fume-free heavy capacity lifting machine is suitable for work in sensitive or congested environments including workshops, factories, power plants and busy construction sites.
