HOMER – Glass Handling Robot
Capacity: 500kg
Retaining all the benefits of our special Ergonomic Mounted Unit (EMU), the HOMER glass handling robot is designed to attach to a telehandler giving high access reach when craneage or scaffolding is too impractical. With 500kg of lifting power, the HOMER enables precise manipulation of glass, metal, plastics, curtain walling and other non-porous building envelope materials into exact position.
The unique patented robotic head continuously rotates 360° in both directions, pivots left and right 80° and tilts 80° up and down. The HOMER glass handling robot is controlled via radio remote control, so operators can manoeuvre a load into the desired position whilst working from a cherry picker.
Four versions of the HOMER are available:
(I ) HOMER + MRTA6 Quadra Tilt Vacuum lifter which has a multi-configurable frame to suit different shaped loads (Ref: GRH15)
(II) HOMER Curved for concave or convex glass (ref: GRH 17)
(III) HOMER Flexi with a bespoke frame fitted to match your requirements (ref: GRH18)
(IV) HOMER 750 with a 750kg lifting capacity (ref: GRH19)
