GGR’s low emission Pick and Carry Crane, the F200E Plus, has been show-casing its eco-friendly lifting power on a number of machinery installation projects in factories around the UK recently.
This battery-powered mobile industrial crane is proving to be a popular choice for handling, carrying, assembling, installing and removing machinery components in factory environments where space is an issue or access is restricted. Quiet to operate and fume-free, the F200E+ pick and carry crane is designed to lift, shift and place loads weighing up to 20 tonnes without the need for outriggers.
The F200E Plus pick and carry crane was used to relocate and install a paper treatment oven in this paper manufacturing plant. Thanks to its front wheel drive, 180° hydraulic steering and slimline 2295mm wide chassis, this compact crane could be easily navigated around the congested site to provide fume-free lifting in a sensitive environment.
The F200E crane was also hired to fit 7 tonne steel moulds into an injection moulding machine at this plastic moulded products manufacturer. The crane’s optional radio remote control came in very handy on this job as locator pins needed to be lined up accurately to install the moulds correctly.
This pick and carry crane also has removable counterweights for easier transportation and makes it suitable for use on low point loading areas. The crane still has a 15 tonne lifting capacity with the counterweights removed. It also features a convenient on-board battery charger and optional low marking tyres.
Take a look at the F200E Plus model also using its lifting strength to remove and replace transformers at this electrical substation.
GGR’s battery-powered Galizia compact cranes are ideal for lifting in confined, sensitive and clean environments as they don’t emit any fumes. These fume-free machines have worked in workshops, factories, power plants, busy construction sites, food manufacturing sites, water treatment plants, schools, hospitals, department stores, museums and more.
New to GGR Group, the battery powered and zero emissions Eco-095 UNIC mini spider crane is now also available for hire and sale.
