With over 25 years’ experience in the lifting industry, GGR group know a thing or two when it comes to lifting oversized, curved glass.
We recently supplied a bespoke curved glass vacuum lifter to a glazing contractor in London to help make their lifting project a success.
Following a site survey, we worked closely with our customer to develop a lifting solution in house, utilising the experience of our technical teams to create the perfect lifting solution.
Once delivered to site, the Hydraulica 2100 Curved was used alongside our UNIC URW-1006 mini spider crane to lift, manoeuvre and place this huge piece of curved glass into place.
The glass was lifted via vacuum suction pads, mounted onto flexible swivel arms that moulded themselves to the unique shape of the load, ensuring optimum control of the load at all times.
The Hydraulica 2100 Curved also features innovative Quad-Circuit technology, with four independent vacuum circuits for safer & more efficient lifting performance on site.
This vacuum lifter benefits from 360° powered rotation & 90° hydraulic tilt for easy control and precise placement of heavy loads, making it ideal for lifting oversized curved glass of this kind.
GGR Group regularly work with our customers to develop bespoke lifting solutions and look at ways to adapt our existing lifting technology to solve the tricky lifting problems often presented to us by customers.
If you cannot find what you are looking for on our website, please contact our depots directly and our technical teams will be happy to talk through your requirements to see how we can help with your lifting project.
