One of GGR Group’s specialist glass trolleys, the Glass Sherpa, has become the punters’ favourite thanks to a re-glazing job on a London bookmakers recently.

The busy betting shop suffered from a cracked pane of laminated safety glass- we suspect a sore loser who lost a big bet!  The broken pane could easily be removed with GGR’s portable Glass Sherpa trolley that has suction pads to carry the glass load as a safer alternative to manual handling.

With a 300kg capacity, the Sherpa could easily remove the 193kg glass sheet and replace it with a new pane. This unique glass transporter has the ability to lift large sheets of glass up to 4 metres long and rotate loads by 360°, making it an extremely useful piece of equipment for glass transport and installation, especially for shop front glazing.

The lightweight Sherpa was easy to dismantle and transport for the glazing company, and its rotating function meant less man power was needed for the job.

The re-glazing job was finished in no time, causing minimal fuss on the busy London high street and requiring hardly any heavy lifting from the glaziers.

Hopefully next time someone loses a bet they won’t take it out on the shop window!
