The Industry Lifting Lead AP Group is holding an open day in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, sponsored by GGR Group and Skanska.

The open day will take place on Thursday 14^th September 2023 at GGR’s Headquarters.

The theme for 2023 is Innovations, Load Control and People-Load-Interface solutions.

Attendees will have the opportunity to see bespoke lifting equipment, get insight on the latest lifting solutions and see a range of work being carried out by specialist lifting professionals across the UK.

Confirmed key speakers include Metropolitan Police, Radius Group, Lloyds British, Torquer Lifting Solutions and Hoistech.

Visitors can also meet with representatives from Ainscough, CPA, CITB, Emerson Crane Hire and training provider National Open College Network, with more to be added over the coming weeks.

Guests will be given the opportunity to take a tour inside the facility and view a variety of product demonstrations, including GGR’s pioneering lifting equipment, glass vacuum lifters, glazing robots and UNIC mini spider cranes. Other innovative equipment on display will be a range of electric and diesel telehandlers, new overhang beams and other specialist lifting equipment.

In addition to the site tours and product demonstrations, refreshments will be provided to visitors at the site throughout the day, with plenty of opportunities to network with leading industry professionals. The audience for this event is lifting APs, Logistics Managers / Supervisors, Plant Managers, Procurement Leads and Senior H&S leaders from across the Tier 1 and Industry contractors’ group.

The depot is accessible by road and public transport, being situated off the M40 for those travelling by car and less than a ten-minute walk from Haddenham and Thame Parkway station, a mere 38 minute train ride away from London Marylebone.
