GGR Group, parent company of GGR Glass, is demonstrating a prototype of a battery-powered mini crane at their open day, this Friday 10th September at the Long Crendon depot.

Following the success of last year’s open days at both northern and southern depots and this year’s northern open day in Oldham, GGR is expecting hundreds of visitors eager to take a look at their ground-breaking lifting solutions.

The full range of GGR’s lifting equipment will be on display, including a proto-type battery powered mini crane, the new UNIC URW-245 mini crane and the new GGR Cladding range.

Gill Riley, managing director of GGR Group, commented: “We’ve always enjoyed great success with our open days, with customers and prospects extremely keen to take a look at all our innovative equipment. The GGR-developed battery crane should attract a fair few visitors this year. In fact, in the past we’ve had quite a few competitors eager to see our latest products, but as nice as it is to catch up with a competitor, this year we’re strictly customers and prospects only!”
