GGR Group have successfully passed their FORS Bronze audits for both their Northern Depot in Oldham, and their Southern Depot in Haddenham.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators which aim to raise the level of quality within fleet operations.

The audit confirmed that GGR Group employ good working practices and comply with the requirements laid out by the FORS Standards. This included proving evidence of driver and vehicle safety, as well as improving operating practices through effective management, tyre and fuel usage.

Donald MacDonald, Transport Compliance Manager for GGR said ‘This is my first audit with GGR Group, working on this audit has made me more aware of good working practices and has enable me to improve our current working practices. The FORS standard are easy to understand and outline the requirements to meet the standards’

There are 3 levels of accreditation within FORS Bronze, Silver and Gold. Bronze being the basic entry level.

Achieving this accreditation highlights GGR Groups continual commitment to their investment in our staff, maintaining standards and support to our customers.

Driving forward GGR Group Ltd are working towards their Silver and Gold accreditations which are due towards the end of the year.
