GGR’s Technical Director Craig Parkin took to the skies recently in a charity Spitfire flight to raise funds for the Bomber Command Memorial.

Over 55,000 lives were lost in the Bomber Command which targeted Germany’s infrastructure for four years during WWII.  A special memorial in London’s Hyde Park Corner is now being built in memory of this unit which is due to be completed in time for the Queen’s Jubilee next year.

Craig, who holds a pilot’s licence, won the Spitfire flight during a charity auction for this special cause. To find out more about the memorial or to make a donation to the Bomber Command visit
