Safe Use of TR30 and TR50 Electric Hoists (eLearning)

Accredited by LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) and endorsed by Tractel, introducing our brand new Safe Use of TR30 and TR50 Electric Hoists (eLearning) course.

Designed to help you operate the TR30 and TR50 electric hoists efficiently and effectively, this will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete. It includes a 20 question knowledge assessment with an 80% minimum pass requirement.

Fully interactive and divided into manageable sections, this online training course includes engaging scenarios, instructional films and quiz questions to help you learn. It’s all about ease of use, so we’ve designed this course to work on any device. Whether you have a desktop, tablet or mobile, you can easily access it and complete your online training. You don’t even have to complete the sections all in one go, all your progress will be saved as you go along.

Completing this course will gain you your LEEA accredited certificate, valid for 3 years.

As a useful addition to your certification, an Operator Skills Card can be provided, if required. The fee for the card is £25.00 + VAT. Email training@ggrgroup.com and enter “LEEA eLearning card request” in the subject header.

Specific learning outcomes:

Understand the key features of the TR30 and TR50;
Identify what documentation is needed in order to operate the associated electric hoists;
Understand how to complete/use the applicable documentation;
Understand how to complete a pre-use inspection, including setting up the associated electric hoists ready for operating;
Understand typical hazards associated with poor operating and ways to mitigate the associated risks;
Understand typical damage that occurs due to poor operating, why it happens, and therefore avoid the same errors happening again;
Identify possible malfunctions, their possible causes, and suggested actions;
Understand how to operate the TR30 and TR50 with and without the sheave kit;
Understand how to pack up efficiently and effectively, to help mitigate against damaged returns back to GGR.
