The Hunterian in Glasgow knew they could trust the Unic URW-094 mini spider crane to handle their ancient Roman artefacts with care so they enlisted our help in setting up their latest exhibition.

The compact 094 mini crane had no problems reaching the museum’s brand new Roman gallery on the third floor and lifted 17 historic sandstone slabs onto their plinths in the exhibit. The sculptures were distance markers recovered from the Antonine Wall which was built by Romans occupying Scotland in c.140 AD.

With precious relics safely put in pride of place, the new exhibition at The Hunterian is ready to open this week, on the 16^th September.

We can’t help but think those Roman soldiers could have done with having a Unic mini crane on site when building that wall!
