GGR Group will unveil the Croco40 at Vertikal Days 2026, introducing the UK’s first 40-tonne capacity tracked carrier and a major new option for heavy-load movement across constrained and uneven sites.
Making its UK debut on GGR Group’s Stand in the main entrance area at Newark Showground on 9–10 September, the radio remote-controlled Croco40 combines a 40,000kg load capacity with a self-levelling platform, compact dimensions and tracked mobility. It has been developed for construction, infrastructure and industrial projects where access, gradients or ground conditions can limit conventional transport equipment.
The Croco40 also marks the launch of GGR Group’s new Croco tracked carrier range. Visitors will get an exclusive first look at the range’s future development.
Built for rough terrain
Measuring 6,250mm long and 2,460mm wide, the Croco40 carries up to four times its own 10,000kg weight. Its platform height adjusts from 1,100mm to 1,340mm and provides longitudinal levelling of up to 8°/5° and lateral levelling of up to 5°, helping maintain load orientation as terrain changes.
A 19° gradeability and maximum side-slope capability of 10° extend its reach across demanding ground, while the Scanreco radio remote control allows the operator to choose a position with a clear view of the machine, load and route. The carrier is powered by a 105kW (141hp) Deutz Stage V engine with hydrostatic transmission.
The Croco40 tracked carrier features integrated container mounting points, to support the safe movement and relocation of welfare units, 20-foot shipping containers and more across rough and uneven terrain.
“The Croco40 is a significant launch for GGR Group and for the UK market. It brings together exceptional carrying capacity, a self-levelling platform and compact tracked mobility in one machine, giving project teams a new way to approach heavy-load movement on complex sites.
Vertikal Days is the ideal place to introduce both the Croco40 and the wider Croco range. We are looking forward to giving visitors the first opportunity to see the machine up close in the main entrance area and to discuss where this new capability can add value on site.” Graeme Riley, Chief Executive Officer, GGR Group.
Visitors can see the Croco40 machine on GGR Group’s Stand in the main entrance area throughout Vertikal Days 2026.
