As the number one provider of spider cranes and vacuum lifter equipment, GGR Group has a specialist fleet of trucks and vehicles to facilitate with the safe movement of our equipment to sites across the UK. GGR’s transport ranges from 3.5 ton to 44 ton goods vehicles, with small vans and long wheels base vehicles also form part of the fleet. We provide this service as a dedicated transport solution for our customers in the hire of our lifting equipment and customer lifting equipment service and repair.
Our modern trucks and vehicles are equipped with some of the most up-to-date specialist systems, ranging from vehicle side scan to forward, side and rear cameras, where the driver has the highest level of vision whilst driving on our busy, congested roads. By constantly increasing our transport fleet, GGR have been able to invest in the latest vehicle technology focusing on the environment in reduced emissions, the safety for other road users and compliance with Crossrail, FORS and other major contractor sites. GGR has also reduced small vehicle movements and emissions by consolidating loads where possible. This has been achieved by investing in specialised larger capacity vehicles and with the careful planning of our hire and fleet deliveries and collections.
We have also invested in improving drivers skills in awareness of vulnerable road users, our drivers have completed Safe Urban Driving, Crossrail Lorry Driver Induction and FORS e-learning to ensure they are promoting vehicle safety at all times.
