GGR Secondary Safety Device (SSD) – Stone

GGR’s secondary safety device (SSD) offers increased safety when using GGR’s range of stone vacuum lifters and is useful for vacuum lifter operators, fixers, and other onsite personnel.

The heavy-duty polyester straps of the SSD are designed to be arranged around the load and are attached to the crane hook during lifting operations. The user-friendly design of these straps makes for easy fitting and removal as and when required.

The SSD has been developed to be used with stone and provides an additional safety factor when lifting, should a loss of vacuum ever occur. This device will allow the load to be safely lowered to the ground.

Please Note: This is NOT a lifting device.
