This compact glazing robot offers practical uses for both indoor and outdoor glazing. The Geko is a favourite for installing a range of glazing styles such as glazing panels, curtain walling, and window units. With an adjustable wheel width of 618mm to 820mm, this Geko is able to squeeze through doorways and around busy construction sites. The ability to expand the wheel width also increases the robot’s stability for easier handling of large glazing.

Pick Up Glazing from Ground Level

With the use of the Geko 350 PV+ you have the addition of a horizontal lifting arm. This enables the operator to pick up to 175kg from ground level and lift to 1.8m high. This extra feature means you can have you glass ready for lifting from either your glass stillage or from a flat pallet. Using this feature you can also install in-floor glazing. The lifting arm is able to be used for overhead glazing as well due to its 180˚ tilt ability.

Adjustable Head

Without an adjustable head vacuum lifters have limited uses so you will struggle to install glazing at different angles. With the Geko 350 you are able to install your glazing at acute and obtuse angles with the tilting ability of 30˚ forward and 20˚ backwards. The head is also able to rotate 180˚ left and right for easily fitting the glass through tight spaces.

Dual Circuit Vacuum

Vacuum lifters at GGR Group are regularly tested and LEEA-approved. However, in the unlikely chance a vacuum does fail, the Geko 350 has a dual-circuit vacuum. This means that if failure was to occur in one of the vacuums there would be time to return the load to safety. This precautionary feature reduces the safety risks of using a vacuum lifter and reduces any wastage that could occur.

Extension Rods and Arms

When installing glass building features such as mullions and soffits can often become an issue. The further reach to install the glass can be difficult to reach or prevent the installation. With the included extension rods the vacuum head is able to be pushed further into these deep areas. The Geko 350 has the choice of 100mm and 300mm rods for further reach.

This model also includes optional horizontal extension arms which are used to extend the spread of the vacuum cups for lifting larger glazing. By increasing the spread of the arms more support is added to the glass making it easier to manoeuvre.
