The journey towards cleaner construction machines is well underway and GGR are committed to creating a sustainable future for the industry. At this year’s RWM show we will be showcasing our range of zero emissions machines.

Zero Emissions Eco-095 Zero Emissions UNIC battery powered Eco-095

The versatile green machine is ideal for food processing plants, listed buildings, airports, clean environments and even cruise ships. This unique spider crane is powered by a rechargeable 48v battery with zero emissions to impact on the atmosphere.

Measuring just 750 mm wide and with a 0.995 tonne lifting capacity, the Eco spider crane is designed for interior access and retains all of the lifting power of our standard models without compromising on operational efficiency.

Alongside cutting edge technology, this innovative machine is the first spider crane to feature low marking wheels for ultimate manoeuvrability when working on light-coloured or polished floor surfaces, making it the perfect machine for working in shopping centres, galleries, hospitals and more.

We think that this model is going to prove to be very popular, there are two high profile car manufacturers already using this lean, green lifting machine.

Zero Emissions G20Industrial Pick and Carry cranes – the mini but mighty G20.

A practical alternative to a forklift, this pedestrian operated compact crane comes with a 5.3m maximum lifting height and can quickly pick, carry and place loads thanks to its 180° rear hydraulic drive.

Like many of our pick and carry cranes, the G20 is battery operated, making it fume-free and suitable for work in sensitive or congested environments including workshops, factories, power plants and busy construction sites. Optional extras include radio remote control, low marking tyres, electromagnetic front brakes and full winch system. A Searcher Hook can be fitted to the G20, giving customers that little extra reach.

This machine can be used for application in any number of industries, examples of work include: Installing sound proof wall in rail depotLifting gas pipeline cleaning pig for National Grid , and Replacing generator engine at fitness centre. Healthcare giants Kimberly-Clark are amongst the customers who have bought one of these versatile machines.

Zero Emissions Oscar-1000Oscar 600 glazing robot

One of the newer additions to GGR’s range of glazing robots, the Oscar 600 is a more compact alternative solution for lifting and shifting heavy glass weighing up to 600 kg using dual circuit vacuum technology.

With a chassis measuring only 780mm wide and solid rubber wheels, the Oscar 600 can be easily moved through narrow gaps using steering wheel controls for operation in confined working areas. Its six suction pads can be securely fixed to glass, metal and window and door elements.

The Oscar 600’s telescopic lifting arm offers 1445mm of reach (300kg capacity), can be raised and lowered using precision controls and can even lift materials stored on shelves thanks to its articulated joint. This glazing robot also features small stabilizers for added safety when handling heavier loads and an electric side shift function for moving the device exactly into position when assisting with glass installation.

This clever little machine has been used for: Replacing glass in conference room at Edgbaston cricket groundLifting, tilting and rotating a heavy prison door and Installing a new glazed panel at MediaCityUK.

All three of these machines will be on our stand 5X20 at this year’s RWM show – pop along to see us if you want to ask more about the kit. If you are unable to get to the show you can call our friendly team of experts on 0161 683 2580.

See you there!
