lblogoGGR Group will be showcasing the latest innovation in compact crane engineering, the battery powered Eco-095 spider crane on wheels, at the London Build Expo on 18th & 19th June.

Developed specifically for interior lifting operations in sensitive environments, the Eco-095 and the higher capacity 2.9 tonne Eco-295 model offer fume and noise-free lifting in enclosed or restricted access areas. These environmentally-friendly compact machines feature a rechargeable 48v battery that can power the machine continuously for two and a half hours.

The Eco-095 and Eco-295 cranes emit zero emissions and are ideal for completing lifting tasks with minimum impact to the surrounding working environment, a key consideration when working in sensitive locations such as food processing plants, listed buildings, shopping centres, airports, hospitals, museums and galleries.

With the minimal dimensions and lifting power of standard UNIC mini cranes, the 750mm wide Eco-095 and Eco-295 models can be easily transported in goods elevators, moved through standard doorways and operated by remote control as required. These unique, electrically powered cranes have low marking wheels instead of tracks for ultimate maneuverability when working on polished or light coloured floor surfaces.

GGR Group’s CEO Graeme Riley comments, “This new machine meets continued demand from customers and principal contractors for a more environmentally friendly lifting solution that helps to reduce their carbon footprint without compromising on effectiveness. It provides a perfect alternative for lifting in confined areas where diesel or LPG powered cranes aren’t suitable.”
