LogoGGR Group have achieved Gold status in the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) run by Transport for London.
Leading the way on health and safety is a core priority for GGR Group, we are proud to announce that we have been awarded FORS Gold status for our Long Crendon Depot.  FORS is an accreditation scheme that aims to improve fleet activity in London and throughout the UK. The accreditation is emerging as a contractual prerequisite for many firms in the construction industry.

GGR Group underwent a rigorous assessment followed by theoretical and practical driver training as well as attendance at the FORS workshops. We have invested in front and rear cameras and side-scan systems for its fleet, helping drivers to improve safety.
In June 2013 GGR’s Long Crendon fleet, currently comprising of 10 vehicles, passed the FORS Bronze assessment first time; the process was a very positive one and after receiving guidance and feedback from the FORS team, achieved Silver accreditation in March 2014. GGR Group now joins the ranks of the prestigious Gold standard accreditation alongside just 40 other companies including: Veolia, J Murphy and Sons, Travis Perkins & John Lewis.

GGR Group Managing Director, Gill Riley commented: This is an excellent achievement, to progress from Bronze to Silver and now to Gold in only 18 months highlights GGR’s commitment to improving safety on the roads. Working with FORS means we’ve been able to identify best practices and improve our growing, successful fleet.
