Leonie Sutherland is about to embark on a life changing challenge to raise money for a truly wonderful cause, The Teenage Cancer Trust.

Leonie will be participating in the 40,000 mile Clipper Round the World Yacht Race in August and is looking for sponsors.

The Clipper 11-12 Round the World race comprises of ten sleek 68 foot yachts and 450 participants from all walks of life. It’s the only race in the world where taxi drivers rub shoulders with chief executives, builders with legal secretaries to form an ambitious amateur crew. The race is divided into eight legs and Leonie is participating in two of the legs.

Leonie says “I would like to say that I will be setting sail to conquer the high seas, but, as Sir Robin Knox-Johnston so eloquently puts it– You will never conquer the sea, but you can learn to cope with it.

Leonie has so far raised £6,600 form 53 sponsors – join GGR in sponsoring Leonie today. Click here to donate.
