As the official European distributor for Unic mini spider cranes, GGR Group are helping to celebrate Japanese manufacturer Furukawa Unic’s 50th anniversary with something special.

A first for the mini crane industry, two new interactive 3D animations are now online, showcasing the most popular models in the Unic family, the mid-range 2.9 tonne capacity Unic URW-295 and the 6 tonne capacity heavyweight Unic URW-706 model.

Each spider crane can be rotated by 360° for views from every angle, and the hot spot zoom function lets you take a closer look at the machine’s hook, safety features, controls and outriggers.

The state-of-the-art technology used in the modern Unic mini cranes displayed in these new animations show how far this innovative Japanese manufacturer has come over the last 50 years. In 1961, Unic produced their first truck mounted crane, the UNIC100, which thanks to its safety, reliability and ease of operation, helped make Unic a trusted name synonymous with quality in the plant machinery market.

Since then Unic has maintained its reputation through original research and development, pioneering design and precision manufacturing, making Unic mini spider cranes the versatile and high-performance machines they are today.
