GGR’s HOMER robot has been used to install all the glass in the new Liverpool Arena. The new development is due to open in 2008 and offers a main auditorium with capacity for 1,350 which can divide into three separate auditoria. A divisible multi purpose hall of 3,600 square metres, links directly to the arena core to provide a total of 7,000 square metres of exhibition space.

To carry out this extensive task Homer was modified to lift cladding panels that are 15m long and weighing 300kg.
