The team at GGR Group were celebrating this weekend as we took home not one, but two awards from this year’s Hire Awards of Excellence.

The champagne was flowing at the awards ceremony which took place at The Savoy Hotel in London this Saturday (12^th April 2014) and was hosted by TV personality Nick Knowles. The Hire Awards of Excellence 2014 were run by Hire Association Europe and celebrated the successes of hire and rental companies in the plant, tool and event equipment industries.

GGR’s Managing Director Gill Riley and other members of the team were there to pick up the award when we were declared winners of the HAE Company of Year (up to five outlets) award. The GGR Group website also received recognition as it was “Highly Commended” in the Website of the Year category.

Judged by a panel of big hire industry names, GGR had to demonstrate high standards of professionalism, customer service and health and safety, as well as evidence of strong company values, a supportive workplace and development of staff as part of the entry process.

This was the first time we have entered the Hire Awards of Excellence so we were delighted to take home two trophies which are now pride of place at GGR’s Headquarters.

A big thank you also goes to the entire team at GGR Group for their continued hard work in providing lifting solutions and an amazing service to our customers. Without them we wouldn’t be winning awards like this so well done to everyone!
