GGR Group is pleased to announce their in-house marketing team has been shortlisted in the Digital Entrepreneur Awards for the Digital Team of the Year category.

The close knit team of five brings together a highly sought after skill set from a strategic level through to more tactical marketing skills including web design and development, graphic design, digital marketing, PR and direct marketing.

This news comes hot on the heels following GGR’s launch of their newly developed and highly anticipated ecommerce website, GGR Glass.

The Digital Entrepreneur Awards are the longest-standing national tech awards, having recognised Britain’s online offering for over a decade. Now in its 13th year, the DEAs have been a springboard to success for many of the web’s pioneers, underlining their hard-work and innovation.

Daniel Ezzatvar, GGR’s Marketing Manager said “it is great for the team to see some recognition for the direction we have chosen to take and the results that we have produced. Our award entry highlighted the difficulties that marketers face when operating in the construction sector.

Through a policy of bringing digital projects in-house and the continued adoption and integration of digital channels within the business, we have challenged the industry status quo and demonstrated that there is a place for marketing beyond the promotional aspects of the profession, with our projects often having a significant commercial benefit to the organisation as a whole.”

Through 17 categories, the awards consider every component of a successful online business, from enigmatic leadership to forward-thinking development and cutting-edge creative.

Each year the awards take place in Manchester for the North and the South for London and GGR’s marketing team are very much looking forward to attending the awards ceremony on 22nd November – fingers crossed we win!
