Leading lifting solutions specialists GGR Group, has today announced the launch of their brand-new training course, the LEEA Accredited Pedestrian Operated Material Manipulator Course for the AC500 Assembly Crane.

This new module is a welcomed addition to GGR’s extensive training course portfolio and has been developed to provide a one-day accredited training program specifically for the AC500 and includes both theoretical testing and practical training.

On successful completion of the course, candidates will be issued with an LEEA accredited certificate and operator skills card which is valid for a period of 3 years.

The innovative AC500 Assembly Crane is a relatively new machine to the GGR Group range and allows operators to pick and carry loads of up to 500kg and can boom out to an impressive 5.1 metres. This machine can lift to a height of 10.5 metres and its 355° slew rotation and onboard electric battery make it the optimum machine for both lifting and travelling with loads.

Donald MacDonald, Training Manager of GGR Group commented   “Bringing new products to the UK market is exactly what GGR Group is all about, the introduction of this new training course for the AC500 highlights our commitment to not just innovation in the UK but it also further solidifies our commitment to training and development in the industry as a whole. Training on the AC500 is available at both the GGR Northern and Southern depots and we look forward to welcoming candidates soon”.
