GGR Glass, one of the UK’s leading glass lifting retailers has launched a new e-commerce website. The 600 page-plus website was designed by the company’s in house marketing team in response to the increase in demand for GGR Glass’s products and services.
The newly launched site serves to improve the shopping and user experience through allowing customers to have their own online personalised account. Customers can view their past order history, compile wish lists for future projects and can compare products across the site.
The website was built over the course of twelve months, and now has fresh look with improved mobile capabilities as well as enhancing the user buying experience on the site.
When customers register, they are able to sign up for emails which provides member only benefits including discount codes, product launches, newsletters and more.
A fresh web presence allows GGR Glass to showcase their most popular products, including the ever popular range of hand cups, suction mounts, carrying straps and other glass handling equipment.
Daniel Ezzatvar, Marketing Manager said: “We made the decision to develop this website in-house as it is an essential marketing tool that will grow with the business, especially as we look to further internationalise the site over the next 12 months”.
“This project went beyond the scope of web development and has seen us improve our digital infrastructure through a server upgrade and the introduction of software to optimise the site’s performance. We have also looked at internal processes to make the customer journey as seamless as possible and from checkout to delivery, things are looking pretty slick”.
“The results so far have been impressive. Revenue, number of sales and average order value has increased and we are seeing more new customers coming on board. At this rate, are on track to delivering a record year”.
Graeme Riley, chief executive of GGR Group, said: “As a company, we’ve always said we believe in innovation not imitation, and that extends to everything, not just our core business products and services. The newly launched glass website will support the business going forward as we develop plans to significantly grow the site to meet growing customer demands for our products”.
