In addition, GGR Group offices based in Aylesbury and Glasgow, are also getting involved by donating gifts in the aim to put a smile on as many children’s faces as possible this year.

Over one million children and young people benefit from gifts that are donated to The Salvation Army. A small gesture of giving a gift can make a big difference to someone’s life at Christmas. Due to recent global events, the Salvation Army are anticipating that there will be more families in need than ever before.

To kickstart this campaign, GGR Group purchased a large Christmas tree to place in the reception area of each of its depots, creating a safe and anonymous donation area. Employees have been asked to donate a variety of gifts aimed towards 0-16 year olds, which will be collected mid-December.

Speaking with Digital Marketing Manager at GGR Group Marc Pogorzelec “Each year we aim to support a number of charities throughout the year and as it is Christmas time, we chose The Salvation Army Toy Appeal. This is a fantastic initiative, which will make a big difference this Christmas to so many children and it is great to see so many of my colleagues throughout the company eager to get on board with this. “

This year, GGR Group have been involved in raising money for charities, such as the Macmillan Coffee Morning, Alzheimer’s Association and Prostate Cancer charities.
