When GGR received a request for pre-Christmas gifts going to British soldiers currently serving in Afghanistan, we thought we’d send some extremely miniature mini cranes their way.

The parcel delivery was organised by one of GGR’s customers whose son is in Afghanistan with the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment.  We were more than happy to help out with his campaign to help boost the morale of Egypt squadron whilst they are away from home on tour over the Christmas period.

GGR contributed some Lego UNIC mini spider cranes to the cause, and it looks like they were a hit with the squaddies who used their downtime to build some our Lego machines.

Some real life UNIC mini cranes are also over in Afghanistan, helping with aircraft maintenance work at Camp Bastion.
