To top off a great few days at the Railtex 2013 exhibition in Earls Court Two this week, GGR Rail took home a prize from the first ever Railtex Awards.

GGR Rail were chosen by a judging panel of rail professionals to receive the Plant & Equipment award as our UNIC mini spider cranes and specialist lifting equipment have provided efficient and cost-saving lifting methods for a wide range of rail infrastructure projects in the UK.

The awards, which recognise the achievements of Railtex exhibitors, were presented by ex-cricketer Phil Tufnell and BBC sports presenter Garry Richardson at The Copthorne Tara Hotel in London.  Sales Director Mike Heneghan and Paul Breakwell from our sales team were there on the night to collect the award and celebrate GGR’s success.

GGR Rail must be on a winning streak as this is the second year running that our work in the rail sector has been honoured, at last year’s Infrarail 2012 Awards we also picked up a prize.
