Newlyweds will soon be able to gaze across Blackpool’s iconic skyline thanks to recent work at Blackpool’s new registry office.

GGR’s Hydraulica 1200kg capacity vacuum lifter joined forces with a Unic 706 mini crane to install two unusual trapezoidal pieces of glass.

Costing over £25,000 each, the specialist glass pieces form the centerpiece of the new building and was chosen to withstand structural loading and extreme weather conditions.

Our G Force operator Ian Stewart was on hand to operate the crane and make sure the glass was lifted safely into position without a hitch in sight.
